What is the first thing you do? You check google for places to eat near you. Then, google gives you the same10 major chains in your area, because most small places dont pay Google's fees for "prime listings"
This book gives you a great list of places to try that would just be left out if you searched online.
If you don't feel like going out and actually want to make something, there are some excellent recipes in there to try as well that are sure to be a hit.

I have written restaurant articles for applications and newspapers, appeared on the radio, just launched my second Pittsburgh restaurant book, and am starting to become well known in the Pittsburgh area as I visit all different types of restaurants from all over the area.
