This place is up there in the conversations around town for best pizza place in the Burgh. It is a bit pricy, however, they use top of the line ingredients and put a lot of diligence in their pizza making. Pizza is great because you can share it, you can get a 16” pie at Driftwood and it will feed 2 to 3 people easily.

Pizza – Driftwood has unique toppings. Some toppings they have that you may not find at most places are fresh garlic, kalamata olives, spicy pickled peppers, mortadella, kale, and rapini. A few pies that caught my eye are the “S.M.O” which has sausage, Shitake mushroom, sweet Italian sausage, mozzarella, pecorino Romano, oregano, onions, and tomato. The “Buffalo Chicken” has chicken that is brined which makes it super juicy and tender, buffalo sauce, mozzarella, provolone, and house made ranch. “A Mason’s Best Friend” features mortadella, spicy pickled peppers, herbed ricotta, mozzarella, and is drizzled with marinara.

Other menu items – Driftwood also has appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.

The owner’s passion is baking, combine that with creativity and delicious ingredients and you are in for a treat!
