GRAB YOUR FAVORITE SUB at PEPPI’S
A lot of people in the Burgh go crazy over Peppi’s and their famous subs/sandwiches. I never understood what all the hype was about. By no means am I saying they are not good, they are tasty, and the portion size is decent. All I am saying is I am not blown away by this place, but I would recommend it to grab something to eat.
Subs – The “Santucci” is considered one of the better subs in the Pittsburgh area by some. It consists of Italian meats, provolone cheese, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and is topped with cherry peppers and house Italian dressing. The “Pittsburgher” is nearly a pound of burger topped with grilled onions, melted provolone, and American cheese. The safe pick is the “Philly Cheesesteak” which has shaved steak, onions, and provolone cheese. There are a number of subs to choose from, check their menu for more options.
Other menu items – Peppi’s also has various salads and sides.

My Final Take
I know I am going to take heat for not putting the “Roethlisberger/#7” on the list of subs. I am sure it is a good sub, but I like to be different, and I am not going to give you what everyone else says to try. You can get a good sub at Peppi’s; I have no problem referring you there.
