Pino’s Contemporary Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar

THERE is NOTHING LIKE HOMEMADE PASTA!

When I see a restaurant advertising “small plates” I cringe! Not a fan of advertising small portions at high cost, it is common sense why I would be against this. However, I have heard about this place serving delicious pasta and pizza and I want to put it on the list because you do have some options if you are willing to pay for them.

Pizza – Their pizza is decent size, it is 6 slices, if your appetite is average or smaller, this will feed two people. They have red and white pizza. The “Carne” features San Marzano tomato sauce, smoked pepperoni, spicy ham capicola, and applewood smoked bacon. A white pizza that caught my eye is the “Spanakopita” which features roasted garlic puree, spinach, tomatoes, and Feta cheese.

Pasta – All pasta is made in-house, there is a distinct difference between homemade and store-bought pasta. The “Tomato Basil” features San Marzano hearty tomato basil sauce, choice of linguini or orecchiette pasta, and you can add on beef, mushrooms, or sausage for a small upcharge. The “Carbonara” has smoked bacon, caramelized onions & mushrooms, white wine cream sauce, served on a bed of fettuccini pasta.

Other menu items – Pino’s also has appetizers and salads.

My Final Take

You are going to pay prices that are comparable to your average downtown restaurant, but the food is delicious, check out their menu!
