If you are from BEAVER COUNTY, EVERYONE AGREES, THERE is no PLACE LIKE THE BRIGHTON HOT DOG SHOPPE!!!

Many outsiders of Beaver County do not understand the alure of the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe. If you are from America’s County however, it has a special place in your heart. Is it the restaurant grade wieners cooking in bunches on the flat top or the chili and cheese that you can put on almost any menu item? Bottom line, food can be simple and still be really good!

The hot dogs/wieners are restaurant grade and made in their own commissary. The fries are cut fresh daily using Idaho Russet potatoes while making sure the oil is changed frequently. The chili and wedding soup are also made fresh daily. The chili and cheese are a fan favorite and goes great added to most menu items

You may think one would be crazy to order a hamburger at a hot dog shop. Let me explain. The burger patty itself is made from a specific cut of ground sirloin. It is seared on the flat top and cooked in its own fat to create a wonderful, juicy flavor. Try one, you will be surprised.

My Final Take

The Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe can best be described as a step up from fast food where you may have to wait a few minutes, but the results are pure and simply delicious. Hot dogs and hamburgers are American classics that everyone loves. Let us be honest, people love greasy food because it tastes great and is fun to eat.

The Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe has been around since 1959 and has reached legendary status. It has branched out to other counties in the Pittsburgh area as well. It is hard to pinpoint the exact reason Beaver County natives are so drawn to this establishment. Perhaps it is a mystery that will never be solved…
