LOCAL MARKET at BASE OF MOUNTAIN SERVES RESIDENTS and VISITORS of the LAUREL HIGHLANDS WITH PRIDE!
As you approach the base of mountain at the junction of route 31 and route 381, you are presented with the option of climbing to the top of the Laurel Summit at 2,728 feet to play a round of golf or ski at Hidden Valley Resort or visit the other mountain at Seven Springs Resort to engage in similar activities. Regardless of the chosen route, if you are searching for homemade food items, or common convenience items, check out Sarnelli’s Market.
Sarnelli’s takes pride in preparing homemade dishes daily such as sandwiches, pepperoni rolls, and meat/cheese trays. They have a deli with an extensive list of everyday lunch meats and aged meats as well. Try a specialty item such as the cherry pepper prosciutto featuring prosciutto and mozzarella wrapped in peppers and soaked in aged olive oil. Sarnelli’s also has a broad selection of beef and pork products. Hungry for deserts, there are plenty of those too.
Take a walk around back and you will be surprised at the size of the structure as this place has multiples levels. It is also a beer distributor, wine cellar, liquor, and cigar store.

My final take
Although this is not a restaurant, and something that I normally review, it is a unique enough place that I give it my stamp of approval. Would I ever lead you astray?
