Conway, Pennsylvania, home of former 6’4”, 277-pound corn-fed pro football hall fame tackle “Jimbo” Covert. It is also home to Conway Yard, which was the largest freight yard in the world from 1956 until 1980. It is a hardworking, blue-collar area in Beaver County that is known for tough people who tell it like it is whether you like it or not. Conway is also known for the Conway Lounge which features tasty food, large portions, and inexpensive drinks. Let us see why the locals are so proud of this establishment.

The food – Conway Lounge is known for their wings. They are always consistent, the chicken is fresh, they are fried until they are crispy, and they have several sauces to choose from. This list of sauces is extensive, check out their menu. Their large salads can feed two comfortably. The Buffalo Chicken Salad (captioned) features fried, breaded chicken which soaks up the buffalo wings sauce. Their appetizer list offers all kind of options such as Wisconsin cheese curds, calamari, and deep-fried Bavarian pretzels. Conway Lounge is also known for their underrated pizza!

Other menu items – Conway Lounge also has entrees, hoagies, sandwiches, soups, and other miscellaneous items.

My Final Take

Most people in this area do not want overly priced drinks or expensive food with diminishing value. What they do want is fair prices on food and drink for their hard-earned money. Conway Lounge has been a staple in the community for a long time. If you decide to dine in this like a lot of bars in Beaver County is smoker friendly. Dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed with taste and flavor and portion size!
