The Meat Lover’s Omelet (caption) consists of ham, sausage, bacon, and cheese. The blend of the three meats gives just the right amount of saltiness which creates a super flavorful dish. It also comes with home fries and toast; most will not leave hungry. Feel like indulging, try Ray Rays’ Trash Plate, which is home fries, bacon, eggs, topped with chili meat and cheese. They also serve lunch items such as burgers, wraps, salads. Traditional home cooking items are also featured such as Meatloaf, Hot Turkey Sandwich, and Pot Roast. The item that caught my eye for the big appetite is the Big Joe’s Cheeseburger, which consists of two ½ pound patties, which makes it a 1-pound burger!
The experience – Most regulars will describe the feeling of entering David’s Diner as feeling like you are at home. The owner and staff make it a point to make every customer feel special. They offer a 10% discount to active military, first responders, and veterans. Most successful business owners will tell you, take care of the customer, and the rest will fall into place. My final take. In my opinion, there is no substitute for human interaction. Technology has helped us in so many ways and made our lives easier. People, however, are what is most important. David’s Diner is small and cozy, and when you are here, not only are you going to get great food, but you are likely to share in great conversation and meet new people. If you have never been here and you are driving by, remember, dynamite does come in small packages…
