PITTSBURGH STEAKHOUSE OFFERS SUPERB DINING OPTIONS for ANY OCCASION!

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from the second you emerge from the Fort Pitt Tunnel and start to cross the majestic, Monongahela River, the proximity of the city’s skyscrapers immediately captures your attention and imagination. Pittsburgh’s landscape is what makes the skyline so distinctive. The archetypal shape of Downtown Pittsburgh is a triangular region sculpted by the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers, which creates the Ohio River. The sheer beauty of the city immediately sparks your interest and makes you want to explore all Pittsburgh has to offer.

One of these areas is the Northshore. The North Shore is situated on a stretch of acreage on the northern bank of the Allegheny River which connects to downtown. It features beautiful walking trails where you can find some of the best views of the city. It hosts two of the city’s major sports teams in the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. It is also home to restaurants which offer great dining options. One of those being Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse. It is known as one of the best steakhouses in the area for not only delicious cuisine, but exceptional service as well. Let us dig in!

Appetizers – When you treat yourself to Hyde Park, you go all out and start with an appetizer. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio is Chilled Wagyu beef sliced super thin. The Crispy Calamari features Thai sweet hot chili sauce, peppers, carrots, scallions, and roasted cashews. If you are looking for an appetizer to share, you cannot go wrong with the Lobster Mac & Cheese which is enough to share.

Steaks – The idea behind delicious steaks is simple but extremely important. Hyde Park uses USDA Prime beef which has tons of marbling/fat which gives the meat great flavor. The steaks are seared at an incredible 1,800 degrees to create a crust that adds to the flavor. Let us take a look at some of their favorites.

The Jimmie Sacco Steak is a 26oz, 36 Day Dry Aged Bone-in Ribeye (captioned) that is heavily marbled. Hyde Park will offer different specials and spice things up from time to time. For this steak, it is soaked in high-end bourbon whiskey and finished with a bourbon butter. The Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon 8oz offers the most tender cut of steak. Even though Filet may not be the most flavorful steak because it is lean, the Wagyu beef gives it an extra kick of flavor to create a party on your palate. Let us face it, TJ Watt is a beast on the field so why not offer a steak in his honor. It is a Porterhouse, which is a filet & strip in one and is 21-day dry aged. If you are looking to share a steak and want that “awe” factor as it approaches your table, the Coach Tomlin Steak is a 40oz Long Bone Tomahawk Ribeye, which is 100% Black Angus.

Other menu items – Hyde Park also has dry aged cheeseburgers if you are looking for something simple. Their salad options include a Caesar, wedge, or double chop salad. When it comes to their sides, everything that can be is made from scratch. A fan favorite is the roasted garlic whipped potatoes.
