Our Gang’s Lounge

Sharon, Pennsylvania, home of the original Quaker Steak and Lube. Sharon’s a unique place. Home to Kraynak’s, Reyer’s Shoes (world’s biggest shoe store), and Daffin’s Candy (world’s biggest candy store). Not to mention, Buhl Park, which has the world’s only free golf course. As I have mentioned, some of the best food comes from hidden gems, diners, and dives. My love for chicken wings continues. I have been told by underground sources that Our Gang’s Lounge has won numerous awards. If you are from the Sharon, PA area, you have probably heard of Our Gang’s Lounge. Let us explore, shall we?

The Chicken Wings – The base and key to any award-winning Chicken Wings are they need to be extra crispy, and the chicken needs to be fresh. Our Gang’s checks the boxes on both items. Their sauces are a combination of ingredients. Went with TNT medium sauce. It is a combo of medium, ranch, garlic, Cajun, and parmesan. Great combo of flavors. Points for a ton of sauce at bottom of the basket for dipping. Garlic fries on point, who does not like butter and garlic? What makes their Chicken Wing selection unique is that you get a ton of traditional flavors like mild, medium, hot, ranch, teriyaki, parmesan, and numerous others. Their award-winning sauces take it to the next level. They are a combination of flavors. I will let you go on their website and see for yourself; you will be amazed!

An AWARD-WINNING CHICKEN WING DYNASTY, RIGHT in the HEART of SHARON, PENNSYLVANIA

My final take. When you first enter the establishment, it is like entering a legendary College Basketball gym, only instead of banners, it is the awards of 8X Wing King that are exhibited. The prices are reasonable. The setting is old school with all kinds of memorabilia on the wall. Interestingly, no Coke or Pepsi, they take you back to your youth with RC Cola. This place is a throwback. It is places like these that keep my passion and love for food and exploring at peak levels. If you are in the Sharon/Hermitage area, give this place a try, do I ever steer your wrong?
