Carnegie, Pennsylvania, steel once pumped the lifeblood of this Western, Pennsylvania Town. Steel is gone, however, since then, the town has been revitalized, and its mains street is flourishing with unique shops, merchants, and restaurants. One of these restaurants is Riley’s Pour House, located in the heart of downtown Carnegie. With a Cheers type atmosphere where everybody knows your name, Riley’s Pour House is known by locals as a great place to enjoy a meal, have a drink, and enjoy live music. The food – Riley’s Pour House features an Irish and American style menu. Start off with the Irish Reuben Rolls which are served with chips and thousand island dressing. Their best seller is the Traditional Irish Fish and Chips which features hand battered cod, fresh cut fries, and is served with tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. They also have a wide variety of specialty burgers. One that caught my eye is the “Kraemer Krush Burger” which is a half-pound of angus beef housed on a pretzel bun with cheddar cheese, fried onion straws, bacon, and spicy brown mustard. Riley’s Pour House is known for their Reuben Sandwich. It has fresh sliced and piled high corn beef served with thousand island dressing, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on thick sliced marble rye bread.

Saturday and Sunday Brunch Buffet – I love buffets and here is why. If you have a big appetite, you can indulge on any item that catches your eye and eat as much as you want of that item. Riley’s has a Saturday and Sunday Brunch Buffet for a very reasonable price.
